Amoebattle was a critically acclaimed mobile real-time strategy game built from the ground up for Nintendo DSi and smartphones, featured on the front page of the iOS App store and on the Google Play store on its release, and highlighted as a Gaming App of the Day by Kotaku. As the art lead, I was responsible for the visual development of the game to establish the overall aesthetic, and for creating all the animated character and object sprites, the background tiles, props, and UI. I managed a small team of artists, assigning tasks and scheduling, and ensuring a consistent style across all assets.
